Quality takes a little time

A state inspection and oil change takes a little longer at Jeffrey’s. But they can resolve any issue that surfaces in a timely manner and at a fair price. If time allows, skip the quickie places and go for quality work. Jeffrey’s business model provides dealership level service and quality at neighborhood garage prices. The only improvement I could suggest is free WiFi in the waiting room.

After making my appointment online, I arrived at 7:30am and my car was immediately taken back for repair. Someone gave me a diagnosis and estimate after about 45minutes. And within about 1hour after that you had obtained a new brake booster from another store, installed it, and bled the brakes. I commend you for the fast and professional service I received. Helpful and Polite!

I took my truck in for an alignment but the mechanic found problems with ball joints as well. Instead of ignoring this, they showed me the problems in person and explained exactly what they could do to fix it. While the price was higher than I expected, the work was done quickly and my truck is safer now than it’s been in years. Everyone at Jeffrey’s was very helpful and polite and I will return next time I need service.

They’ve replaced transmissions, worked on brakes, etc. Usually when something breaks down, we take it to them.

The service has been good overall! We like them very much. They’ve been honest and reliable. If we’ve taken something that needs to be repaired and we feel that they might’ve overlooked something, they’re quick to fix it. They really want the customer to be happy, and they’ve been our repair shop of choice for approximately 15 years!

We’ve started using them for almost all of our automotive services. Recently we’ve taken three vehicles to them, all different kinds.

The service has been excellent overall! They’re very professional, nice, prompt, and we have found that their estimates come in about or less than other estimates from mechanics in the past. We haven’t had any difficulties or problems with Jeffrey’s. They’re 100% accurate on their diagnostics, too. I feel that they’re very reasonable, too. I had an a/c problem with my Tahoe: one of the vents’ motors was going out, and another mechanic estimated it to be $700, but Jeffrey’s quote was $503. I feel confident that if I were to have the job done, that they’d be able to get it done quickly. We’ve really enjoyed using them!

Incredible service – Very fair prices. Our car died on the side of I-35W while on a family trip. What could have been a nightmare was totally covered by Jeffrey’s team. Their frontline staff got the car picked up and back to their shop while they made sure we had a way to continue the trip. They assured us the car would be in a safe place during and after the repair until we returned. I could not ask for a better experience. I only wish I could find as good of a garage in my hometown!

This was my first visit to Jeffrey’s. Although the buildings were old, I was impressed with the size and numbers of service bays. The office and reception center were very nice. Great Christian Owned Family Business

Best hopefully unkept secret in Watauga, TX. The owner is a fine christian man and a pillar in our community. The service staff is next to NONE. Quick radiator turnaround

These guys are great, ripped a hole in the radiator of my dodge cummins during a daily trip to the land fill dumping shingles. Called my dodge service dept. and was told 2-3 days. Well I did the same thing back in February, hole thru the radiator at the land fill, 2 1/2 days and 1280.00 it was fixed by the dealership. This time I could not wait 3 days, called Jeffreys, they said get it up here…..well I was cashing out 5 hours later for only 714.00. They did the exact same thing as the dealership did earlier in the year, except faster, cheaper, with all the same exact parts, and a warranty for 2years/24k miles. The dealer gave be 30 days. They have a new customer.

These guys live their values! I’ve been bringing our multiple vehicles here for service for several years, after being overcharged at a “Christian” auto service business. The Jeffrey’s team has always treated us fairly and respectfully (including my wife and daughter).

We’ve had maintenance and repair work done here on domestic and foreign vehicles, including a new transmission installed, and will keep coming back.

Pros: Courteous, prompt, professional, reasonable.

Cons: It always stinks to have to get your car or truck repaired (but this is the place to get it done).

Above and Beyond

This was, once again where the staff at Jefferies went above and beyond what they needed to do. I worked with Danny on my wife’s car. Her radio was giving her problems. We did not want to put in a new radio, so Danny helped me find a radio at a recycled auto parts place and then had it put it in for me. He did not have to help me like that, he could of just sent me down the road. This is not the first time Jefferies has helped me out. They helped me teach my son a lesson that I hope will stay with him for life. The cheapest price is not always the best way to go. My son got into a problem with at cheaper repair shop and Jefferies stepped in and dealt with the other shop and then ended up making the repair. It is GREAT to have someone you can trust on your side.

Professional Care

Everybody has heard the story or even experience the horrors of mechanics that take advantage of the customer’s lack of technical or mechanical knowledge. When I go to Jeffrey’s Automotive repair, I rest assured that business is done in an honorable way. They take care of my car’s problems and solve them for me. Every time I’ve had to bring a vehicle to them, the job’s been done to perfection. I have AC in my car courtesy of Jeffrey’s Automotive Repair in Watauga. The first estimate from another shop was $1538, the second was $1100 and Jeffrey’s found a simple issue and fixed it. The AC fix and state inspection was $40. I am overjoyed and feeling blessed!

I was informed by another auto repair shop that my O ring gaskets needed to be replaced. The cost of the repair was prohibitive. I took it to Jeffrey’s for a second opinion and a quote. They were very competitive with their quote however I had to leave the car with them all day. I don’t have another car and I couldn’t get anyone to pick me up and drop me off. I was very impressed with the service here! I only had a little money and I went in very afraid of the pushy repair man that I get at other places. I was actually referred by a tire store. Even though this place was very much out of my way, the friendly customer service at the tire store made me curious about the service of anyone they would/could refer so I took a chance. I couldn’t have been more pleased and more wrong about the pushy repair man. Not only was my car fixed, but they SHOWED me exactly what was wrong with it. While.the car was up in the air we noticed that my bumper was I dangling a bit and they were even interested in fixing that with no charge simply because it was it was an easy fix! Unfortunately, my car did have other minor issues that I could not afford to repair at that time. I didn’t get the scary speech that everyone dreads, I, instead was told that they would make my vehicle as safe as possible until I was able to come back in. I would drive back there for any repairs, even if I were 100 miles away! The service is excellent, the staff is excellent and the customer service is unmatched! The neat coffee and tea machine is perfect, its also worth trying during your short wait!

5 Years/4 cars and counting … they always are dependable and are up front and honest if they cannot solve the issue. I’ve taken my Nissan, two Mazda’s and a Toyota to this shop over the past 15 years. Never have they over committed and are VERY quick to point out if a repair needs to be done at a dealer due to a specialty need. What’s great is that you see the SAME employees at the counter whenever you go in – not an employee who was there for a few months and then left. There is strong employee loyalty at this location, and strong customer loyalty as well.(Regardless of some of these rankings.) They are a family run business, so having the weekends off is critical – as well as taking a week out of the year off as well. If I have a car emergency during any of those times, honestly, it’s not their fault, it’s just Murphy’s Law. And they open bright and early so I can drop my car off before heading in, then give me a call if the repair will take longer than expected. In this day and age it’s nice to have a ‘partner’ in the business community who treats me fairly and knows me by name.

My transmission went out on my car and I tried to get a hold of a dealership to find out if they could tow and how much, etc. Everyone, and I mean everyone was in a meeting! So I remembered a friend’s family owned Jeffrey’s so I contacted them. The guys there were all so nice, gentleman, “yes, ma’am and no, ma’am.” They had my car towed in and got me quotes and did the work getting me a new transmission. They were cheaper than the dealer would have been and I was very well taken care of. I’ve been back for oil changes and K mile checkups and always greeted with a smile. I took my vehicle to Jeffrey’s Automotive on the recommendation of Discount Tire in Keller because there were a couple of parts that were wearing/breaking down on my 2006 Magnum. I took the vehicle in, talked to Danny and he was very honest. Made an appointment to come back at my convenience and they got my vehicle looked at very quickly, talked to me about the concerns, made a recommendation, and quoted me. Set up an appointment for the following morning. Quoted 2.5 hours in Labor. With in that time frame, less to ne exact, I had a call from Danny saying that my vehicle was ready to go. I have used Jeffrey’s Automotive Repair about 4 times. This last summer I took my truck in and they did a front end alignment. The front end started shaking months later so I took it in to them again.

They correctly diagnosed that a front tire was out of balance. They did not charge me for that diagnosis. He told me if I got two new front tires the truck would run like new, and thats exactly what happened.

Pleasantly surprised

I was quickly greeted after walking into their store and treated very well. I’d come for an alignment and they were able to immediately get my truck into the garage. Within 30 minutes it was done, and I was thankful that the price was lower than other places I’d contacted. Of course, this is just one experience, but I’ll go back when I need more work done. I asked them to check out my import with a sputter & dying problemalong with a horn and power mirrors that didn’t work. They did an analysis and found the problem…the horn. Maxima oil leak

It was just the gasket on the oil pan plug. Replaced the gasket, changed the oil, wiped down the excess and I was outta there. Good job. No more liquid on the driveway or garage floor.

I brought my truck in to have a performance muffler installed. I already had the muffler & just needed it installed. I was given a free estimate. The price was a little higher than I expected. Jeffrey’s Automotive was great. I just needed a safety inspection, and I was in and out of there in probably 35 minutes maybe. They said I needed new windshield wipers, but I told them that my Lexus has had problems with aftermarket windshield wipers. They checked it out, fit it with a new set, and they were steel, like the original ones that came on the car. What I’m say is they’re buying products that have more quality than auto parts stores are selling in the way of windshield wipers, and I’m pleased with their service.

If I had to choose a career again, it would be between brain surgeon and auto mechanic. I think their payscales are pretty similar. But, the car is fixed and runs like new. Kevin’s folks did a 90,000 mile check and repaired/raplaced a couple of other things. They did a good job and I’ll be back soon with one of the other vehicles.

I am very impressed with Jeffrey’s Auto Repair. I’ve taken my vehicle in twice to have work done. The first time, the technician took the time to explain and show me on my vehicle why I didn’t need to have anything done. (Wow! They are so honest that they talk you OUT of spending your money!) The second time I brought it in and told them that I needed a new starter. Turns out, it was only a faulty battery. They tried to charge the battery and tested my starter, alternator and everything else. The cost? $25! When I asked if they could just leave it outside for me to come install my own new battery to save myself some money, they told me that, if I went and bought a new battery, they would be happy to install it for me. What a wonderful place! This will be my auto repair shop for life… No wonder they’ve been in business for over 30 years! Thanks, Jeffery’s!

Trustworthy and reasonably priced.
I’ve got a care with around 120,000 miles on it. It hasn’t had a whole lot done to it, and it runs perfect, but it was time to get a number of general maintenance things done at that mile range. I hadn’t dealt with Jeffrey’s Automotive Supercenter before, so I had them check things out and give me prices on some of the things to feel them out a bit. They only recommended what I knew needed to be done, and the pricing was reasonable. The price wasn’t great, but it wasn’t poor, and it certainly was better than any dealership, so it was very reasonable. They didn’t try to talk me into a lot of goofy or unnecessary things. As a matter of fact, I wanted transmission service, but they said I didn’t need it. Same thing with the breaks. That’s great! That’s how I develop a relationship and learn to trust a place, and I was very impressed with this place. They did awesome!

I had passed by Jeffrey’s Automotive Supercenter a number of times before, but since it’s across town from me, I took my car somewhere else, but my car kept experiencing issues after taking it to the other shop.

I had scheduled for a front end alignment and asked that they please look my vehicle over for anything else they can see. Best service for oil change

I went in for an oil change and mentioned that my A.C. (which I had gotten repaired at Jeffery’s a few months prior) wasn’t consistently blowing cold air. After the mechanic changed my oil, he checked my A.C. for leaks or other issues. He discovered that there was too much Freon (terminology may be a bit off) and put it back to the proper level. All for no charge! When I found out they had checked my A.C. I was shocked at the initiative and was willing to pay for the extra labor. But they said not to worry about it and to come back if there were any more issues. That was great customer service and I will definitely be returning!

I have been letting them handle my car needs for years. I recently had them work on my 2004 ford escape, It needed an alternator. Front End Alignment

Made an appointment at 9:30 and technician was available to take car immediately upon my arrival. I was told it would take 45 minutes. It took a little bit longer, but that was because I had replaced the front struts the night before and the alignment was way off as a result. Very nice people to deal with. I knew when there were three women in the waiting room that this was a great place to come. Women usually don’t go to car repair places because most mechanics sell them a bill of goods and do services and repairs that aren’t needed. Obviously, this is not the case at Jeffrey’s. I was very pleased with the service afforded me by Jerry. I had gone to someone else first and had a Ac check done and was told I had a blockage and needed a new ac system and they said I was full on freon but could not get air cooler than 62. Here I paid for another AC check and was told I had a slow leak and was half low on freon which they replaced by accessing through a partial bumper removal. I don’t think I understood it would be labor intensive or the cost but even so it was certainly less than a previous quote of $1500 and I now get cool air and time to save some money to fix the slow leak later. They were so kind and understanding with me for my alignment…I had a device on my car that required my presence to start. The sales people overheard my conversation in waiting area about making an appt with Just Brakes for a brake job and they offered to inspect for free. I first took my Honda civic’06 car which had an electrical problem with the brakes/indicator lights to the near by Honda showroom where they said that the initial diagnosis to identify the cause of the problem is very difficult and going to take a lot of labor time and cost. I said NO to them and searched Google for the other auto repair shop and ended with Jeffrey. I read all the reviews about Jeffrey’s posted across different websites and I felt very happy to find such a good place. I left my car in the morning at their service center and I got a call back from them in the afternoon saying that the problem is fixed already. Everyone I met and spoke in the front desk was very nice and the Owner (Lady who takes care of customer relationship activities) is very kind and even offered me a ride back to home after I left my car in the work shop. Overall I’m very very very satisfied with their customer service and auto repairs. I would recommend Jeffrey’s to all my friends. I’m not the kind of person who normally posts the reviews online. The excellent customer service & auto repair at Jeffrey’s made me post my fist online review immediately after I’m back from collecting the car from them. I live in this area for around 2 years and I regret for not knowing about Jeffrey’s automotive shop till today.

First Time Visit

Radiator resplendence

Just over $500 for a brand new radiator on my late model Dodge truck. That included the actual radiator($180), coolant, flush and fill, and labor. Trust me, that’s a good price. I probably could have purchased the actual radiator for a little less somewhere else, but $180 is a very fair price.

I moved here in 2001, and Jeffrey’s Automotive is the only place I go. I know the people there, and I know that they will find out the problem with the car. I have had a lot of major work done there as well as maintenance. I have 5 kids, so Jeffrey’s Automotive works on all their cars and on mine. They have done everything for me and they know me by name.

The work really is quality, and that is why I go back. They will do it right the first time. They tell you like it is, and it is very good value for the quality of work you receive. They don’t give their work away, because then they couldn’t be in business, but for the quality of work you receive, it is a great value. I have my elderly parent/s go there because I know they will be treated right; that says a lot.

These guys are a rarity in 2011; great technicians and honest. I brought my car in last week with a number of diverse problems. They reviewed all of my issues and gave me a full estimate. Exhaust on 2011 Armada

I had a flowmaster 2/1 50 series muffler installed and a Magnaflow tip. The guys behind the counter were courteous and straightforward. Easy to work with as well. Facility was clean. The muffler guy was able to set the tip angle and position to my request and painted the welds to prevent rusting. The price was not a “deal” but less than expected. I have already recommended a couple of friends to your shop if and when they need repairs needed on their truck. I will be back when more work is needed.

Brought my Ford F150 in. I expected to leave it there and to be called tomorrow with what they found. Instantly they asked if I could wait and someone would be right out. When you move to a new area, especially from out of state, finding a reliable and honest mechanic is always a concern. Jeffrey’s Automotive came highly recommended by several people, including the tire store I took my car to when I needed new tires. The tire store was unable to remove one of my tires because a lug nut was frozen and they could not get it off without breaking the stem. Since it would be unsafe for me to drive it somewhere for a repair if the stem was broken, they recommended I take it to Jeffrey’s first and let them try to remove it. It turned out the mechanic at Jeffrey’s was able to use something that loosened the nut. They didn’t charge me for the service, which I thought was wonderful. I have taken the car to them for my inspections and other repairs. They are always honest about what needs to be done and what doesn’t need to be done. I have never felt like they were trying to take advantage of me because I am a woman. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs repairs to their vehicle or a state inspection.

Many things were needing repair in this 1997 Suburban that have been neglected. Leaky this and that. But it was “travelling” somewhat when driven and they found some front end work causing it. It was a fair price for the work, too high on the part. However, after having gotten a proposal from the dealer, their price was about the same overall but they could get it in and out faster. This is an excellent place for a second opinion when you’re unsure if it is overpriced or diagnosed correctly. We have used them before on this vehicle and on my 1999 Toyota Camry. sorry, I can’t remember the part name details as my husband worked with them on that.

They are far away from us but were highly recommended originally by Discount Tire (who has been reliable for us in what they sell, install, and repair. They also give you a 10% discount certificate for Jeffries.) We found that they are excellent diagnosers, repairers, front desk workers, do well on explanations, show you what and why on the car. They are prompt and reliable. The only issue we have is that they charge double to triple the cost on the parts. They give a two year warranty on their work and parts, so I think that’s how they justify it. If you buy your own part, then only the labor is guaranteed. Great group here.
