We are always humbled by the reviews our customers give Jeffrey’s Automotive. We receive handwritten notes, feedback forms and various online reviews each week from very satisfied customers. Yes, there are some reviews that note ways we could improve, and we respond to each of those with follow-up, consideration and improvement. We believe our customers to be our best form of advertising. We also know that people talk about their mechanic – and it’s not always good. The following are some of the most common reasons that, even in the past few months, our customers are telling their friends about Jeffrey’s:
- No unnecessary upsell
Because our customers tell us, one of the things they like about Jeffrey’s is that we do not engage in “upselling” that may leave many customers suspicious and confused. Because we offer a 25-point inspection on most cars that come into our shop, we may find additional problems with your vehicle that need attention. But we are not trying to sell you auto repair services that are not necessary. We diagnose, we repair the problem and get you safely back on the road.

Probably a chief complaint customers have always had about mechanics and auto repair shops is that they are not clean, perhaps smokey, and sometimes because of the nature of some of the decor (if you know what I mean), not an appropriate place to bring your kids. Not at Jeffreys! We have worked hard to provide a waiting area that is unlike you find at many of the independent auto repair shops out there.

Family Owned Auto Repair Shop & Fort Worth Rodeo

An annual tradition for the Jeffrey family is attending the Fort Worth Stockshow & Rodeo. Last month, the entire Jeffrey family enjoyed a day visiting the exhibit hall, seeing the animals, and a couple of the Jeffrey grandsons got to test their pitching speed at the Chevy Truck booth. The highlight of the day included the 2-hour matinee rodeo.
We love being a part of the greater Fort Worth community – a city strong in traditions!
What should I consider when choosing an auto mechanic in Fort Worth?

5 Things To Consider When Choosing Your Mechanic:
- Never authorize work to be done on your vehicle without a written estimate. Such an estimate clarified that you will be contacted before any work not on the original estimate is performed. The estimate should be specific and include both parts and labor charges. At Jeffrey’s, we follow this procedure with every single customer.
- Find a mechanic who is ASE certified. ASE stands for Automotive Service Excellence. If the mechanic you are considering opted to skip the ASE, this might reflect on their commitment to serving the customer. At Jeffrey’s, we have not just one, but 8 ASE Certified Technicians!
- If your check engine light has been coming on, don’t allow your mechanic to “reset it and let’s see what happens.” Your car’s OBD (On Board Diagnostics) system will give specific codes relating to your check engine light problem. If your mechanic doesn’t have the ability or knowledge to read these codes, or doesn’t feel like it, you’re wasting time and money at that shop. At Jeffrey’s, we have modern computerized diagnostic tools that read the codes that will often tell us what the problem is.
- Take a good look at the shop’s work areas. A good mechanic will refuse to work in messing conditions. They will keep a clean organized work area, and clean their tools and equipment on a regular basis, usually daily. While oil stains are a part of life in a garage, a good mechanic knows how to keep his work area neat (and yes, grease on the mechanic’s shirt is very normal). At Jeffrey’s, we do our best to keep our bays uncluttered and organized.
- Follow customer review and recommendations, not coupons or flashy advertising. This applies to mechanics, dentists and real estate agents. There is no substitute for a thumbs-up from a good friend of family member. Good shops know this, and their customer service reflects it. Is there a Christian mechanic in Fort Worth? Sure. There are many in our industry who are followers of Jesus. The industry reputation may lead you to think otherwise, but we know of many in this area. They are small businesses, often family-owned automotive repair shops, who tireless work to give their customers the best quality service with integrity. That’s who we are at Jeffrey’s.
At Jeffrey’s, we were established 34 years ago on a foundation of faith and trust that God would provide. He has. Our customer base has grown and grown and now we are serving thousands of repeat customers every year.
We know that customers are often looking for a Christian automotive repair shop in the Keller, North Richland Hills, Saginaw, Watauga, Colleyville, and Greater Fort Worth area. If you’ve driven up and down Denton Hyw 377 (just south of Keller, and north of 820 in North Fort Worth) on the weekends, you may have noticed something unique.
During the week on our road-side digital billboard, we promote mechanic services such air conditioning, wheel alignment, brake repair, check engine light and state inspection. But on Saturday and Sunday, we deviate from those topics.
On the weekend, you’ll see inspirational messages and Bible verses.
We are a family-owned business, with our history and business principles based on our Christian faith.
