I have taken many cars to Jeffrey’s over the last eight years even though it’s out of my way. They have ALWAYS been fast, honest, and competitively priced. The first time I took a car there was for some random small repair. The mechanic came out and told me I have a small oil leak. Being honest, he told me I could fix it easily now but it really wasn’t a big deal and once I fix it there, it would most likely find another place to leak. Then I’d be chasing leaks everywhere and spending too much $$ on a 15 year old car.
One time, I had a clunker crap out on me on the highway and had the car towed there (pass. side front end + steering pump completely obliterated). Once I got the prognosis I told the service writer I couldn’t afford it. He then worked with me on the service, telling me what parts I could get used and still be OK, what service I needed immediately and what service I could hold off on and still be safe. That cut the immediate bill in two thirds, then I went back and got the rest of the service the car needed.
Yet another time, one of my cars was in the shop and the other one crapped out on me. Jeffrey’s not only stepped up the pace on my first car, but they stayed open a little late (on a Friday) so I could get there and pick up the first car.
TL;DR: Jeffrey’s is a stand-up auto shop with honest, caring, professional people. Even though it’s out of my way, I take my cars there for just about everything needed.

Prompt and smart service from the office personnel to the technicians. Made the whole experience as painless as possible. I usually do maintenance and repairs on my vehicles, but when I needed an alignment I reached out to Jeffrey’s. Based on that experience I feel that they would do as good or better of a job than I could do on future repairs. If I don’t have the time then I’ll be taking my cars to Jeffrey’s.

After getting new tires installed on my trucks, I took them into Jeffrey’s automotive for an alignment. I was very impressed with the staff and service. On one truck, they said the alignment was good and did not charge me for this truck. They got the second truck aligned. They impressed me as a company that strives to do the job right the first time. I will go back there for all my vehicle issues. It is rare to find a company that will shoot straight with you and do the job right the first time.In my line of work, I can not afford to take my trucks in the service center more then one time for a problem. They are more then worth the price if I can get it done right the first time. I have been to cheaper places and had to have the the same work done several times. No longer will I make this mistake. I highly recommend Jeffery’s staff and mechanics.

I have never been able to find a honest, excellent service, friendly local mechanic shop to service my vehicle and to call “my mechanic” until now. I know how the dealerships like to hike up their prices most of which is for labor for services that should cost only half or 3/4th the cost. I am tired of that treatment. Thank God for Jeffrey’s, my new auto mechanic shop!!!!

If you want folks who are HONEST as well as VERY GOOD at what they do, look no further. I took my 3 year old Honda in for a front end check up as well as a brake check up (didn’t want to wear down to the rotors). Not only did they tell me everything was fine but they showed me the front end diagnostic chart used to evaluate my car’s front end and were very thorough in explaining it all to me. They could have told me anything to make a buck but didn’t. You RARELY find this kind of honesty in the world today. Kudos and a big “Thank you” to Jeffrey’s Automotive!

I love dealing with a family owned business and I have found their customer service staff to be courteous and reliable. If I have to wait, I certainly prefer to do it in a clean environment and Jeffrey’s is that.I had a mechanical problem that no one seemed to be able to correct. Decided to try Jeffrey’s and immediately they nailed it! Women and autos don’t always mix well so I really need to know I can believe and trust what someone is telling me. I’ve found a comfort zone at Jeffrey’s.

Though I have moved out of the state, I return to Texas often. Each time I return I stop at Jeffrey’s to have my car checked over and fixed if needed. Jeffrey’s brings me complete peace of mind and I trust and count on them to keep my car in great working condition. They are professional, honest, customer service oriented and very accommadating. You can take your car anywhere, but you are short-changing yourself if you don’t stop at Jeffrey’s.

Another repair center told me I would need other parts at a much higher price. Jeffrey’s charged 1/3 the price to fix a headlight problem and install front struts. Upon completion of their work, my car passed state inspection and doesn’t scrape bottom when I go over bumps. I will take future car repairs to Jeffrey’s first!

I was very impressed with the attitudes and the graciousness of Jeffrey”s.They seem to care most about the customers and what all they needed. It was run very efficiently; when I called I was given an appointment that very morning and they were able to work with my schedule and be finished in an hour and 15 minutes . I loved the Christian music playing and the special hot drinks also. I loved the kind attitude of all of the employees. Great job on our van at a very reasonable price! Thanks guys!

Excellent service! It was more convenient for me to deliver my car at 4:30pm the day before the repair instead of 7:30am, the day of the repair. And, the pick up time was at 2pm, which was good due to more traffic on 377 at 5pm.

The day was awful – blustery wind, rain and cold. We arrived on time for our appointment and we greeted with a smile, a hot cup of coffee and an on-time appreciation! As we waited, beautiful Christian music filled the air. No hard rock. No screetching sudo-songsters. Just a calm and peaceful place to spend a short time while waiting for the “Auto Doc” to give us a report. If we needed an alignment, they would do it. If not, they would tell us and send us on our way. With four new tires from Discount Tire and the recommendation to Jeffrey’s Automotive, we knew we could trust their judgement. An alignment was completed in record time! The price was well below the ridiculous one offered at Park Place Volvo by over $100 savings. Our Volvo drives like a dream and even the steering wheel sits straight. Thank you Bill at Discount Tire and the wonderful staff at Jeffrey’s for a great job and so much kindness, concern and professionalism!
Super! They are always friendly, honest. Do good work. You usually have the choice of Dealer or Shade tree mechanic. These guys are as knowledgeable, or more, than any dealer but prices are reasonable. Highly recomend.

My most recent experience they had ny car done and ready two days earlier than expected, and with a lower price than originally estimated! As long as I live in the area, I will not take my car any place else!

I had Jeffery’s diagnose the problem with my Cummin’s diesel. They did an excellent job and were very professional.
Arrived at my appointment time and my vehicle was service promptly. Was told over the phone that the Pre-Own Buyer’s Inspection could take up to two hours. As it turn out they were not overly busy so they had two mechanics inspect my 2012 Toyota RAV4 vehicle and it took all of 25 minutes. I was delighted.
The folks at Jeffrey’s are genuinely kind. They recognize me when I come in and are always prompt. They are extremely competent and completely trustworthy.
Clean and professional. Friendly and Helpful. First time visit. Internet reviews were good so I tried Jeffreys. Very happy. Feels like a place that is honest and helpful and won’t rip you off.
They replaced our engine. So far so good! they gave us good feedback when deciding what we should do about our car.

The gentleman who received and input my requests was very quick to get my truck checked out (driven a short distance to check alignment on road) as well as to get it back into the shop. I was quoted about a 45 minute job time (typical for an alignment), of which the estimate was spot on. The alignment was corrected, and I was provided a print out of the before (had to request) and after (provided without asking). The alignment has been perfect for over 1000 miles so far at the time of this review. Thanks for the excellent service, Jeffrey’s. I will be back if I ever need anything else.

It was quick in and out both in dropping off and picking up my car, a single day turnaround and they honored warranty work from barely within the warranty period. Having had many bad experiences with car repair in the past, I generally have a knot in my stomach every time I have to take my car in, but Jeffrey’s is steadily making that go away.

I have been using Jefferies for 12 years. I was in a bind due to the fact that I had a differential problem, which could cost thousands and the only way to diagnose was to disassemble, then get a estimate which meant I was entirely trusting. Jefferies not only got me in the same day but completed the rebuild the next day! They completely disassembled my differential to be sure no other components were damaged and repaired at the price I was told before I commented. I can’t say how much I appreciate the honesty and quality I received.

We use Jeffrey’ s because they are honest and reliable. Car was repaired quickly (same day) and price charged was LOWER than the original quote! Staff is always friendly. Just knowing you are leaving your car with people that have a reputation for being honest and trustworthy is worth the sometimes higher price. In this case, the price was lower so that was an added plus! Yes, we will continue to use and recommend them highly.

The staff at Jeffrey’s Automotive Repair are excellent at what they do. I took my car there for check engine light diagnostics during on a Friday afternoon. They diagnosed the problem and walked me through my options for repair step by step, even drawing a diagram for explanation and said they would get a quote. I left and by Monday afternoon they had called me with a quote. Service was all around very thorough and fast. Would recommend to anyone.

Very good and professional – large facility – very pleasant to deal with in person and over the phone – didn’t feel like they were pressuring me – very high level of customer service – explained all the problems and what needed to be fixed and what didn’t and helped walk through all of the options. Decent rates and take the extra time to talk and explain problems and repairs with customers.
My opinion is that these guys are top notch; I have no complaints and would not hesitate to have them attend to my auto repair/maintenance needs in the future.
Jeffrey’s is the only place I trust to have work done on our cars.

Definitely worth the money. I went here after Discount Tires recommended I get an alignment due to uneven tire wear. They got right to the heart of the problem and they were even kind enough to take me into their garage to show me the parts that were broken on my car. I ended up having to replace my sway bars and a tire rod just to get a proper alignment, but now at least my car doesn’t sound like it’s going to fall apart. In the two years of owning the car I currently drive it has always made a rattling sound every time I went over bumps in the road, but after theses repairs the sounds are gone and my car actually seems like a reliable car. I’ll definitely be returning for future auto care here.

I have been using Jefferies for 10 years. I was in a bind due to the fact that I had a differential problem, which could cost thousands and the only way to diagnose was to disassemble, then get a estimate which meant I was entirely trusting. Jefferies not only got me in the same day but completed the rebuild the next day! They completely disassembled my differential to be sure no other components were damaged and repaired at the price I was told before I commented. This was a major job, since they had to take out the whole dashboard to replace the heater core. Danny was very patient in explaining the details & was able to get the part for my car, that is no longer manufactured. He took me thru their facilities, that are very clean, with everything in its place. It was an all day job. Since I didn’t have a ride, Kelly was kind enough to take me home & pick me up the next morning. They also changed my oil a month before. I compared prices, & theirs was fair. I trust them & will always use them in the future.

However, the radiator hose was not tightened, which led to a serious transmission oil leak. They did fix the problem and after talked to by Parra automotive where I had taken the car, not knowing the problem was related to the radiator work, they reimbursed that charge of about $67.

A little while back I had an engine problem. I went to a different shop and they were unable to diagnose the problem. They proposed taking apart my engine to find the problem. I always come to Jeffrey’s when I need work done on my vehicles. They are not the cheapest, but they do the very best work. You get honest answers to your questions regarding the work needed and the cost of the work to be completed. Recently I need work done on my car. I had received an estimate previously regarding the cost and the amount of time it would take. There was a slight miscommunication regarding the timing which would have made it difficult for me to pick up my children from school on time. Once they became aware, Jeffrey’s solved my problem in a way I would never have expected, but certainly relieved my anxiety regarding my children. The solution to the problem was over and above anything I would have ever expected, nor did they have to do what they did. I was extremely grateful! Excellent experience. Knowledgeable staff. Good pricing, great Christian atmosphere. Only suggestion would be to add some children’s books/games to the waiting area and bottled water to drink. Or something to drink that cool and free so the kiddos don’t insist on hot chocolate and then create a scene when they burn their tongues;) Been there, done that:) But I personally love the variety of refreshments for adults!

We took a car in to have it looked at for an overheating issue. We initially replaced the thermostat, but was still having problems. While talking to them on the phone, I mentioned that I thought it needed a new radiator and possibly a water pump, but they insisted on running a $25.00 diagnostic on it first.
During their test, they found out that the radiator cap didn’t have a proper seal due to a worn out gasket. They offered to replace it, but told me that we could probably do it ourselves for less than they were charging. We picked up a new cap and haven’t had a problem with it since.
Considering that we were already mentally prepared to fork over the money for more expensive repairs, it was very refreshing to get an honest analysis of the problem. They could have ripped us off to the tune of several hundred dollars, but they chose to go the honest route.

Unfortunately, I had an accident due to ice. I drove my car to one car shop but was not too sure what my plan was, claiming insurance or not. Jeffrey’s came to me through recommendation. I decided to claim on my insurance and have my car towed to Jeffrey’s. I was very pleased with their work and customer service. The initial estimate I received from previous shop was way over of what Jeffrey’s estimated plus claiming on insurance gave me some peace. I recommend this shop to anyone needing work plus they made it easy to get my rental car back. All I had to do was leave it there and they called the rental place to pick up.

Clean Facility, Family Friendly environment because of the Christian music playing and clean bathroom also…the employees were polite, professional and thorough…the speed of service was impressive. I also had to return to JA to correct a noise I experienced after an arm bushing repair job. I was extremely pleased with the way they handled the repair. It only took about 10 minutes and I was out of there before I could get settled with my tea. The honesty that was displayed was very assuring as a female who has very little knowledge of vehicles. I came in to have the loudest sounding mufflers that are legal in the state of Texas, and I had already been in before and received an estimate for some mufflers that I thought would be the loudest I could get. Jerry, told me about a different kind and told me they would be louder and make the type of sound I was looking for. Not only did he take my estimate and match it from 7 months earlier he made it work for me on the pricing of the new mufflers that would cost me more and made it come out to just a few dollars more than my earlier estimate and make me a very happy customer. I only had to pay about $10.00 more for a $60.00 savings if I would have had to pay the original price of the different mufflers. My 2007 GMC Denali was running VERY rough so I took it to a nearby automotive shop. Their diagnosis was the vehicle needed a brand new engine which would be $5000-$6000 plus another $2000 for labor. My first time at Jeffrey’s today, went based on recommendations from the guys at my Discount Tire. It was the first service on my ’07 Trailblazer in 4 years. The service writer Andy was helpful and up front on what it could have been and what their approach would be. He called with the update and price options as promised and had me ready to drive home at 530p! Cost was more reasonable than quotes from several other locations. They even threw in a price special on the alignment service since I was referred from DT. I hope that I don’t need to see them again for many many miles….but when that time comes I will be back!

I initially discovered Jeffrey’s on the internet after being very disappointed with the Half Price auto repair that is ” NOT ” half price, and the last time I was there for diagnostics they rewired my mass air flow sensor in backwards. Jeffrey’s had very good ratings form people on the net, so I called them. I spoke with Kevin, the shop manager, and right from the initial conversation, he had my attention, and sold the service to me. After Jeffrey’s ran their diagnostics they could have conned me big time, but they didn’t and were honest with me from the beginning all the way to the end, and that again sold me 100%. From there, history. I decided to let them go ahead and install a new timing belt, water pump, all the hoses and belts too. What they promised, they delivered, they now have any and all of my future business. I sincerely doubt you’ll find a better business establishment than Jeffrey’s Automotive to repair you vehicle. And again, all the people I dealt with were fantastic.

I always recommend Jefferies to whoever needs their car repaired. my sonata needed a new tire to pass inspection and they helped find one at a discount. being on fixed income, that really helped. so if you need your car fixed and fixed right the first time, then go to Jefferies and ask for danny, he is most helpful and a darn good nice guy!

I would give five stars but I haven’t yet had any serious work done. So far my experience has been great. I initially took my car in to have the brakes checked as they were grinding. The mechanic checked everything out and, lo an behold, said there must have been something that got stuck on a pad. No real problem, no charge. 90% of mechanics would find SOMETHING to replace and charge you for. I’ve continued to get an honest vibe when I’ve been there.

My brakes started grinding badly and I assumed they had burned through the pads unexpectedly quickly and now the rotors would need to be turned. Loe and behold I had an actual auto mechanic tell me a rock chip or something must have caused the grinding and there was no fix required and no charge. Most brake places would have done the work anyway and maybe tried to upsell me on something else too. I was pleased with their honesty as well as their politeness and professionalism. I just found my new mechanic.

I was thinking there was something else wrong with the car that would have been alot more expensive. I was told by other shops that the water pump was bad. Thats $1500.00 to replace. As it turns out, Jeffrey’s did the proper checks and found the problem was as simple as flushing the coolant system. I’m not sure about you but…$128.00 is alot better than $1500.00. I’ll be back and will be sending anyone I know to Jeffrey’s (honest) Automotive Repair.

I usually take my car to the dealership for service and when I was getting the tires checked on my VW Passat at Discount Tire prior to an impromptu trip I was told that I needed an alignment and should take care of it before the trip, they recommended Jeffrey’s Automotive Repair, I was a bit hesitant to take the car to a non-dealer service shop because of past experience but since I was in hurry and didn’t have time to go to the dealership and possibly leave the vehicle there for a while I decided to give Jeffrey’s Automotive Repair a try. What I really liked about them was that they didn’t try to sell me on other services that I probably didn’t need. Took my 97 Dodge truck in for an alignment and their mechanic called me back to the shop to show me extensive wear in my ball joints, pitman arm and idler arm. I actually was expecting them to find something wrong because of how fast my tires had worn since their last replacement. They said they could make the repairs and have it ready later in the afternoon. I told them to go ahead but that I was stuck there and would have to wait. They then said he would put 2 guys on it. Quality takes a little time
A state inspection and oil change takes a little longer at Jeffrey’s. But they can resolve any issue that surfaces in a timely manner and at a fair price. If time allows, skip the quickie places and go for quality work. Jeffrey’s business model provides dealership level service and quality at neighborhood garage prices. The only improvement I could suggest is free WiFi in the waiting room.

I took my truck in for an alignment but the mechanic found problems with ball joints as well. Instead of ignoring this, they showed me the problems in person and explained exactly what they could do to fix it. While the price was higher than I expected, the work was done quickly and my truck is safer now than it’s been in years. I have been to Jeffreys for a number of services now. They are good honest people and will even educate you on what they are doing to your vehicle. As a business owner myself, it’s very important to educate your clients because it puts the knowledge and power in their hands. I have never felt confident that I knew enough to take proper care of my car. Thankfully with Jeffrey’s Automotive Repair I now feel confident I can do what needs to be done and I know my vehicle is in honest knowledgeable hands when I take it there.

The service has gone very well overall. Their customer service is exceptional; they don’t try to do unnecessary repairs, get you in quickly as they can, and tell you what they think needs to be done. Their price is competitive and I’d highly recommend them!

They’ve replaced transmissions, worked on brakes, etc. Usually when something breaks down, we take it to them.
The service has been good overall! We like them very much. They’ve been honest and reliable. If we’ve taken something that needs to be repaired and we feel that they might’ve overlooked something, they’re quick to fix it. They really want the customer to be happy, and they’ve been our repair shop of choice for approximately 15 years!

We’ve started using them for almost all of our automotive services. Recently we’ve taken three vehicles to them, all different kinds.
The service has been excellent overall! They’re very professional, nice, prompt, and we have found that their estimates come in about or less than other estimates from mechanics in the past. We haven’t had any difficulties or problems with Jeffrey’s. They’re 100% accurate on their diagnostics, too. I feel that they’re very reasonable, too. I had an a/c problem with my Tahoe: one of the vents’ motors was going out, and another mechanic estimated it to be $700, but Jeffrey’s quote was $503. I feel confident that if I were to have the job done, that they’d be able to get it done quickly. We’ve really enjoyed using them!

Overall, the experience has been good. It seems as though he’s pleased, and he’s even recommended this mechanic to me, and I’m his mother! Both of us trust them, no matter what the cost is. I also trust that the repair they say needs to be done is the repair that needs to be done. They’re very honest!

Incredible service – Very fair prices. Our car died on the side of I-35W while on a family trip. What could have been a nightmare was totally covered by Jeffrey’s team. Their frontline staff got the car picked up and back to their shop while they made sure we had a way to continue the trip. They assured us the car would be in a safe place during and after the repair until we returned. I could not ask for a better experience. I only wish I could find as good of a garage in my hometown!

Jeffrey’s Auto Repair maintains my car. They literally maintain it. The mechanics are all very good. They let me know if something needs to be done immediately or if it’s something I can wait on. They are always courteous and professional. They usually get my car in and out within a day.

This was my first visit to Jeffrey’s. Although the buildings were old, I was impressed with the size and numbers of service bays. The office and reception center were very nice. All of the employees seemed to try to insure that my visit, as well as all of the other customers, were pleased with the service. I was surprised and happy with the service I received. I will continue to take my car to Jeffrey’s for service and I will recommend them to my friends…the prices were more reasonable than other repair shops I have used.

Great Christian Owned Family Business
Best hopefully unkept secret in Watauga, TX. The owner is a fine christian man and a pillar in our community. The service staff is next to NONE. Quick radiator turnaround
These guys are great, ripped a hole in the radiator of my dodge cummins during a daily trip to the land fill dumping shingles. Called my dodge service dept. and was told 2-3 days. Well I did the same thing back in February, hole thru the radiator at the land fill, 2 1/2 days and 1280.00 it was fixed by the dealership. This time I could not wait 3 days, called Jeffreys, they said get it up here…..well I was cashing out 5 hours later for only 714.00. They did the exact same thing as the dealership did earlier in the year, except faster, cheaper, with all the same exact parts, and a warranty for 2years/24k miles. The dealer gave be 30 days. They have a new customer.

These guys live their values! I’ve been bringing our multiple vehicles here for service for several years, after being overcharged at a “Christian” auto service business. The Jeffrey’s team has always treated us fairly and respectfully (including my wife and daughter).
We’ve had maintenance and repair work done here on domestic and foreign vehicles, including a new transmission installed, and will keep coming back.
Pros: Courteous, prompt, professional, reasonable.
Cons: It always stinks to have to get your car or truck repaired (but this is the place to get it done).

Above and Beyond
This was, once again where the staff at Jefferies went above and beyond what they needed to do. I worked with Danny on my wife’s car. Her radio was giving her problems. We did not want to put in a new radio, so Danny helped me find a radio at a recycled auto parts place and then had it put it in for me. He did not have to help me like that, he could of just sent me down the road. This is not the first time Jefferies has helped me out. They helped me teach my son a lesson that I hope will stay with him for life. The cheapest price is not always the best way to go. My son got into a problem with at cheaper repair shop and Jefferies stepped in and dealt with the other shop and then ended up making the repair. It is GREAT to have someone you can trust on your side.

Fantastic Service. Went in for a 4 wheel alignment and they didn’t try to up sale me on anything. They even came back with the diagnostics showing that the vehicle was misaligned, and asked if I still wanted it fixed. It was fairly fast and no problems afterwards. Great Job.

Everybody has heard the story or even experience the horrors of mechanics that take advantage of the customer’s lack of technical or mechanical knowledge. When I go to Jeffrey’s Automotive repair, I rest assured that business is done in an honorable way. They take care of my car’s problems and solve them for me. Every time I’ve had to bring a vehicle to them, the job’s been done to perfection. They cost more than an average mechanic because they are above the average… Simply put, I can continue to use my car without having to buy a new one because they fix it !

I have AC in my car courtesy of Jeffrey’s Automotive Repair in Watauga. The first estimate from another shop was $1538, the second was $1100 and Jeffrey’s found a simple issue and fixed it. The AC fix and state inspection was $40. I am overjoyed and feeling blessed!
